Round-up review: our score and verdict are based on published specs and reviews from across the web, not our own play-testing yet.
Tecnifibre’s TFight 305S is the 2025 replacement for the TFight ISO 305: a 98 in², 305 g control frame with an 18 x 19 pattern and the Medvedev endorsement. It suits intermediate to advanced players who want precision and a rock-solid feel without the sluggish swingweight that put many off the last version.
The fix everyone asked for
The ISO 305 swung at 338 and carried too much weight at 12 o’clock. Tecnifibre moved the mass towards 3 and 9, and the strung swingweight now measures 324 with stiffness at 63 RA. Tennisnerd calls it a significant improvement and the most balanced of the new TFights, with a “beautiful blend of control and feel”, solid volleys and decent pop on serve. Tennis Warehouse’s testers scored it 9.0 out of 10, which they say is one of the highest scores a racket has earned on their metrics, with groundstrokes and returns both at 9.1.
Solid, precise, foam-filled
The foam-filled frame gives the connected, muted feel Tecnifibre is known for, and Zsofi found it “just as stable as ever” against big hitters despite the lower swingweight. Tennis Warehouse tester Oak got more launch and spin than he expected from 18 mains, and Troy found the pattern tamed the flighty flat drives that bothered him on the old model. The RS beam is reinforced to keep power up: Tennisnerd rates it more powerful than a Blade 98 v9 and plusher than the 2023 Radical MP.
Tecnifibre did exactly what it had to do, no more and no less.
Where reviewers split
Plough-through is down on the outgoing model, and Tennis Warehouse lists that as the only negative; Troy would add weight before taking it into a match. The launch angle is lower than a 16 x 19, so Tennisnerd points players wanting more lift to the 300S or 315S. The grip is rectangular, which some love and others take time to accept.
