Prince’s O3 Phantom 100X is the 2025 update to the Phantom line, aimed at advanced and strong intermediate control players who want a thin-beam, low-power frame with exceptional touch. It is a full-swing player’s racket. The comfort comes from flex and damping rather than light weight, so beginners shouldn’t read arm-friendly as easy.

Prince’s O-Port vents cut wind drag and give the frame its famously soft response, and the 16×18 pattern and 19 to 20 mm beam stretch dwell time for one-handed backhands, volleys and drop shots. Tennis Warehouse describes the update as inspired by the original O3 Tour, with a thicker, stiffer beam that adds power and stability without abandoning the Phantom’s control-first character.
Stability is the part older O-Port frames lacked, and the new Anti-Torque System, which places Textreme and Zylon at key points, limits wobble and power loss on off-centre hits. Tennis Warehouse’s customers score it a perfect 5 out of 5 across six reviews; one called it the holy grail of plush rackets, with the feel of an old O3 Tour and more stability.
Where reviewers split
Purists have one objection: at RA 66 this is a long way from the sub-60 flex of the classic Phantom 100X, which remains on sale alongside it. If ultra-soft is what you loved, the older frame is the one to keep. Free power is minimal by design, and the 326 g strung weight needs a full swing to make the most of it.
Availability is the practical snag. Prince’s UK retail presence is thin, so most buyers will be ordering from a European stockist rather than trying one in a shop.

Verdict
A superb touch frame for advanced players who value net play and a one-handed backhand. Buy the classic Phantom instead if ultra-flex is what you are after.
